I am fortunate enough to work at a hospital that offers this data base. It is an amazing resource to utilize when learning and caring for patients. It is a great resource for research and/or immediate questions. I believe this is an extremely useful resource to offer to the students of MSU.

As a faculty member who is currently teaching undergraduate nursing students, and soon graduate nursing students, about finding and using evidence to support nursing interventions in practice settings – this is a wonderful addition to Renne Library. I strongly urge the library to pursue a full subscription so students and faculty have access to this valuable resource.
I have used this in every hospital and clinic I’ve worked in from East to West Coast facilities. This is an amazing resource for nurses and providers and would be a great permanent addition to the resources for undergraduate and graduate nurses at MSU.
UpToDate is one of the top resources for integrating evidence into practice. As a practicing clinician and faculty member, this resource is one of a kind and will provide what students need to practice safely, effectively, and to the best of their ability. I highly recommend the library considers permanent adoption.
