Tip of the Week: De-stress!

Enjoying the break from classes? You may not be thinking about the last two weeks of school (or you might be thinking of nothing else!), but the library is ready to help make the last bit of the semester a little easier. We have two de-stressing events taking place in the library.

Dead week (Dec. 1-5):

  • Paws to de-Stress begins! Full schedule here.
  • Relaxation Room @ the MSU Library, 9 am-4 pm. The library is partnering with the MSU Office of Health Advancement to offer a Relaxation Room on the library’s first floor near the DVD collection. Snacks, stretches, hula hoops, jokes, aromatherapy, and more!

Finals week (Dec. 8-12):

  • More Paws to de-Stress! Be sure to check out the schedule so that you can “paws” your studying and greet these friendly therapy dogs.

We’ll see you at the library!

Tip of the Week: Cans for Fines!

The 15th annual Can the Griz competition is taking place from November 8-Saturday, November 22. The MSU Library is a designated drop off point for canned goods, and as an added incentive, you can also trade cans of food for fines!

We will deduct $0.50 per can, up to $10 total, from any fines you might have. This does not apply to lost books, damages, etc. Stop by the Borrow Desk, and tell us you want to swap cans for library fines, and help MSU can the Griz!

Can the Griz will end at halftime during the Cat/Griz game on November 22.
